My name is Dakira,and I am an Illustrator specializing in professional sketches,character design development,and storyboarding for production stage projects.I am proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, with a strong curiosity to continually expand my skill set and explore new creative tools.My journey as an illustrator has been shaped by self-teaching, combined with formal education in graphic communication.I earned my A.A.S. in Graphic Communication from Tarrant County College in 2025, equipping me with both practical techniques and foundational knowledge to thrive in the creative industry.I successfully ran an online store with three friends who each brought unique creative perspectives to the table. Additionally,I’ve participated in Zines and collaborated on fun group projects with other artists, which strengthened my ability to work effectively with diverse teams and contribute creatively in shared spaces. I have a strong interest in crafting wacky and out-of-the-box designs, paired with a creative passion for traditional and professional sketches for referencing.
